Health conditions of lyricist Vaali deteriorates

Almost 25 days ago the 81-year-old lyricist Vaali who had been experiencing breathing difficulties was admitted to Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. There was a setback in his health conditions and he was put on ventilator support. His health condition is still critical which has put all the members of the Tamil film industry in a sorrowful mood.
He has written lyrics for over 10,000 songs in a career that spans over five decades. From penning lyrics as a young poet for some of MGR�s biggest hits �Anbe Va� all the way up to Rajinikant�s �Uzhaipaali� and �Yejaman� and the recent remake of K Balachander�s �Thillu Mullu�, Vaali�s lyrics have been used in hit songs that have charmed the last three generations.
