Sensational news!! - Extension in the holidays for schools and colleges in TN announced!!

It is well known that the students belonging to the schools and colleges have been given vacations till 20th of January 2022. The government of Tamil Nadu has brought in more restrictions to prevent the spreading of Coronavirus as well as Omicron variant also. It is known that many Coronavirus and Omicron cases are getting reported in Tamil Nadu now. The night curfew has been extended till 31st of January now to control the spread of the infection.
The news now is that the holidays for the students belonging to the schools and colleges in TN have been extended till 31st of January. The department of higher education in its statement had mentioned that all arts and science colleges, engineering colleges and polytechnic colleges would be closed till 31st January. Details regarding conducting the semester exams for these students would be out a week before the examinations.
The department of school education in its statement had mentioned that due to extended lockdown till 31st January the students belonging to classes 1 to 9 would also have holidays till 31st January. These students would be taught online or through Kalvi Tholaikatchi channel. For the students studying in classes 10, 11 and 12 direct physical classes would continue.
