Holidays announced for all the engineering colleges under Anna University!!

The Coronavirus infection is spreading at an alarming rate in Tamil Nadu now!!
The register of Anna University or AU has announced that from today 6th January till 20th January all engineering colleges under Anna University would have holidays.
The government of Tamil Nadu has been taking many measures to control the spread of Coronavirus infection now. Many strict restrictions have been imposed now by the government
After the recent meeting between the officials of the health department of government officials, the TN government had ordered to enforce total shutdown on all Sundays. It has been decided that for those students who are preparing for the exams medical colleges etc would be opened and rest would be closed till 20th January.
In this scenario, the register of AU has released a circular and according to that all the engineering colleges under AU, deemed universities, other engineering colleges that have not got the deemed university status but coming under AU etc would be closed till 20th January 2022.
The circular also mentioned that the students must get ready for the upcoming semester examinations and they must follow the guidelines issued by the government compulsorily. For this, the college administration must take the necessary steps without fail.
