Very important !! No half yearly vacations for the school students in TN!!

Due to long holidays given for the school students as the schools were closed due to the Coronavirus infection pandemic, there would not be half yearly examinations now. This was according to the school education department.
It must be taken into account that following the spread of Coronavirus infection in Tamil Nadu schools and colleges were given holidays for the 2019-20 academic year in TN. The government announced a total shutdown to prevent the spread of this infection and due to this schools were forced to be closed. For the 2021 academic year, the school education department has decided to resume schools in January. It is true that arrangements were done to reopen all the schools. This did not last longer as the schools were forced to be closed due to the second Coronavirus wave.
From 1st September 2021, schools have been going on for the students belonging to classes 9 to 12 in Tamil Nadu. It was announced that the public examinations would be conducted for the students. From November month, direct physical classes have been going on for the students belonging to classes 1 to 8 also. The recent rains have made the schools to be closed and this has now led to lack of time for the teachers to cover the syllabus. It is now brought out that due to lack of time it would not be possible for the teachers to complete the syllabus if half yearly vacations were given to the students. Hence, no half yearly vacation would be given for the students now.
