Current updates and situation of Traffic movements in Chennai City in view of North East Monsoon Rainfall.
1. Water logged areas and Traffic diversions:
- Rangarajapuram Two wheeler subway - Traffic closed.
- Traffic has been resthcted due to the accumulation of rainwater in the Madley subway.
- KK.Nagar Rajamanar Road - Traffic closed and diverted towards 2" avenue.
- Valasaravaltham, Mega mart road - Traffic closed and diverted towards Keshavardhani road to reach Arcot road.
- Vani Mahal to Benz Park - Traffic closed and divert. towards Habibullab road and Raghavaiah road.
- To facilitate the drain water work at Anna main Road in front of K.K. Nagar G.H, the traffic intending towards Udhayam theatre are allowed in the opposite direction. Similarly at Udhayam junction the Ha, vehicles from Kasi point and intending towarth Anna main Road is diverted towards Ashok pillar.
- Traffic from Medavaltham to Sholinganallur is restricted but diverted to Sholinganallur via Kamatchi Hospital.
- Ashok Nagar Postal Colony Road vehicles were moving slowly.
