Chennai will get showers until Saturday

The Chennai city enjoyed the chill weather and rainy nights on Wednesday night. This rainfall due to low pressure in bay is expected to continue for few more days. Areas of Chennai like Nungambakkam, Meenambakkam, etc had a maximum temperature of nearly 30.5 degree Celsius.
On Thursday, a rainfall of nearly 24mm and 33mm were measured at Nungambakkam and Meenambakkam respectively. According to the meteorological department officials, the rain may continue till Saturday and would gradually decrease in the furthermore days.
