Traffic regulation for Thevar jayanthi : Greater Chennai Police Traffic Alert

Greater Chennai Police Traffic Alert Message:
In view of Thevar Jayanthi celebration on 30.10.2021 various political party leaders, leaders of various organisations and volunteers of Thevar peravai and other like organisations will assemble at the junction of Anna Salai x Chamiers Road jn (Nandanam signal) to pay floral tributes / garland the statue of Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar. There will be a slowdown of Traffic on the stretch of Anna Salai both in the incoming and outgoing directions.
The following Traffic arrangements are planned on 30.10.2021 from 07.00 hrs till all activities gets over in and around the statue.
Diversion
1. Link Road
The incoming vehicles from Saidapet intending to go to Chamiers Road towards Turn bulls point will be diverted at the Junction of Anna salai & Link Road along Link Road, Model Hutment Road, V.N Road, South Boag Road, North Boag Road, Thiyagaraya Road, Eldamas Road, SIET, K.B Dasan Road.
2. Nandanam Junction
The incoming vehicles from Saidapet intending to go to Chamiers Road (Turn bulls) will be diverted at the Junction of Nandanam signal towards V.N Road, South Boag Road, North Boag Road, Thiyagaraya Road, Eldamas Road, SIET, K.B Dasan Road.
3. MET Junction
The outgoing vehicles coming from Teynampet intending to go to Saidapet will be diverted at the Junction of Cenotaph Road towards GKM Bridge to take route via Kotturpuram Bridge, Gandhi Mandapam point, SVP Road.
4. GKM Bridge one way-GKM Bridge south side
GKM fly over will be made as one way with entry from Anna Salai & Cenotaph Road Junction and No entry from Kotturpuram Bridge towards Anna Salai.

5. Turn bulls point
The outgoing vehicles coming from Chamiers Road intending to go to Saidapet will be diverted at the Junction of Cenotaph Road and GKM Bridge towards Gandhi Mandapam point, SVP Road.
