Greater Chennai Corporation: Last day today (15th October) - Property Tax

A concession of 5% or a maximum of Rs. 5000/- is being given by the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) for the property owners who pay their Property Tax within the first 15 days of the 6 months.
As per this, the property owners who paid the Property Tax within the first 15 days of the commencement of the 2nd Half-year (6 months) period, a concession of 5% has been given the total concession offered by GCC in this regard works out to be Rs. 5.94 Crores.
In this scenario, in the current 2nd half of the year, today (Friday, 15th October) is the last day to avail of the benefit of the 5% concession offered on the Property Tax!
Note that those who pay the Property tax from tomorrow onwards need to pay an addition of 2% interest on the total Property Tax!

PLEASE USE THE APP - www.chennaicorporation.gov.in & name Chennai AND PAY THE PROPERTY tax today itself and avoid paying penalty!
