Consent letters from the parents of students of classes 1 to 8 are very important!!

If you are a parent of the student of classes 1 to 8, then please get ready with a consent letter!!
Coronavirus vaccination status of the family members of the students of classes 1 to 8 is very important now. The schools have resumed for the students of classes 9 to 12 in TN and from 1st of November schools for students belonging to classes 1 to 8 would also reopen. It must be noted that the TN government is taking steps to ensure that the parents and other family members belonging to the students of classes 1 to 8 are vaccinated.
It is now brought out that the parents would be asked to furnish a consent letter allowing their kids to go to the schools by following safety measures. From 1st November onwards, about 41lakhs students belonging to class 1 to 8 in about 44000 government and private schools are expected to go to their schools in Tamil Nadu.
Cleaning and sanitisation of school premises have been going on now and there would be inspections one week before their reopening of the schools. This was according to a senior official belonging to the school education department.
He spoke about how it would be highly challenging for the teachers as well as the school management to strictly follow all the SOP�s like maintaining social distance, wearing facemasks etc. Point to be noted is that in the recent review meeting the health department authorities have asked the education officers to make sure that the parents and family members of the students have got atleast the first dose of vaccination.
It is worthy to mention that in the consent letter parents must mention details regarding how many of their family members have got vaccinated. The consent letter would be circulated by both government and private schools.
