Permission given for conducting direct physical classes for first year students in the colleges in TN with important conditions!!

The Coronavirus infection pandemic has made the colleges to be closed and the students have been learning through online mode.
Now, the new academic year has begun is well known. In this scenario, permission has been given by the government to the colleges in TN to conduct direct physical classes for the students belonging to the first year. From 4th October 2021, direct physical classes for the first year students of Arts, Sciences and Engineering colleges would be starting.
It is known that from 1st September onwards direct physical classes have started for the second and third year students (bachelor degree programmes) and second year (masters degree programmes) in TN.
A circular has been sent by the director of collegiate education to all the principals of the colleges in Tamil Nadu. According to the circular, permissions have been given for conducting direct physical classes for the students belonging to the second and third year of bachelor degree programmes and second year of master�s degree programmes on rotation basis and by following the safety rules laid by the government.
The circular also stated that for the first year students for the academic year 2021-22, direct physical classes would begin from 4th October by following the government�s guidelines protocols. The principals of the colleges must arrange orientation programmes for the first year students. All the qualified students must get vaccinated for Covid-19 and steps must be taken.
The directorate of collegiate education has mentioned that principals must make sure that the students must wear facemasks compulsorily plus maintain physical distance in the college campuses.
