Chennai is a hugely populated city in India is known fact. In Chennai, one of the busiest roads is Kamarajar Salai located near the Marina Beach. There are many government offices present on this important road. As the world famous Marina Beach is near to this road, many tourists and local people come with their families and friends for relaxation to forget their stress and issues.
The news now is that not only the government staff but also the tourists are also finding it very difficult to cross the road here. For the people to cross the busy road safely without any issue, a subway has been constructed near the Uzhaipalar Statue and near Kannagi Statue. This Kamarajar Salai is of 3.5kms and at these above said places only a subway has been constructed.
Truth is that pedestrian crossings have only been set up at other places on this road. In such busy places, it is important that the traffic police are always available but the absence of traffic police here has been creating huge fear. for the people The people who cross the road have fear of being hit by vehicles here.
