As per the weather forecast by the Indian Meteorological Department, Chennai Metro City and its suburban areas are likely to receive moderate showers on 23rd September (Thursday).
The same weather trend is expected to continue until 29th September.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted moderate showers along with thunderstorms for Chennai Metro City and its suburban areas on Thursday.
The weather agency has issued a rainfall alert for the next 48 hours and has also predicted heavy showers at times over a few places in the city.
