Tamil Nadu State Government: School and college students can travel in Government buses without tickets!

The State Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that all the students of schools and colleges with their identity cards and uniforms can travel in the State Government buses without buying tickets.
Till now, the schools and colleges have remained closed due to the first and resurgent raging coronavirus pandemic. Classes are being conducted only ONLINE for the students!
In the present situation when the extent/impact of the coronavirus pandemic has come down and checked, the schools and colleges have been permitted to reopen and the relevant guidelines to be strictly followed have also been released!
In the above scenario, the Tamil Nadu State Government Minister for Transport, Rajakannappan has released a notification:
�Students in their uniforms can travel in the government buses without buying tickets. The students of all government colleges, Industrial Training Institutes (it is), and Polytechnic s can travel in government buses without buying tickets but they must have their Identity Proofs with photos.�
