Karnataka: Schools to reopen on 6th September for the students of 6th, 7th, and 8th Standards!

Karnataka State Government Education Minister Nagesh has announced that the schools will reopen on 5th September for the students of the 6th, 7th, & 8th Standards.
Earlier, the schools were reopened on 23rd August for the students of the 9th, 10th, 11th, & 12th Standards. Now the schools are being reopened for the students of the 6th, 7th, and 8th Standards.
However, the minister announced at the same time that this reopening of schools is ONLY FOR THE TALUKS WHERE THE PANDEMIC SPREAD IS LESS THAN 2%!
The minister further explained in this regard that except the districts adjacent to Kerala State, relaxation is announced for the nigh lockdown imposition,
As such, in all Taluks where the pandemic spread ratio is less than 2%, schools are being reopened for the 6th, 7th, & 8th Standards.
The classes will be conducted with only 50% of students. The schools will function 5 days a week.
