In TN, rank list for engineering admissions to be out on 4th September

The verification of the documents for the students taking part in the engineering counselling in TN has been going on in full flow and it has reached the final stage. Information is that the rank list would be announced on 4th September.
There are many engineering colleges that come under Anna University. It is now said that for admission for the first year in these engineering colleges an online counselling would take place through the Directorate of Technical Education or DOTE. The application registration through online began 26th July and it completed on 24th August. Students who have paid the fees online have been scanning their original documents and downloading them.
To know about the genuinity of the documents, the engineering committee counselling members have been verifying through DGE. Truth is that the verification has now reached the final stage.
For those students under the sports quota, the verification of their documents took place in the central polytechnic college of Chennai. It is revealed that those students who have not taken part in the document verification process could go to Taramani�s central polytechnic centre either today or tomorrow along with their original documents. The officers belonging to the department of higher education have pointed out that after the verification of the documents rank list would be announced on 4th September. Many students who have completed class 12 have been showing huge interest now to pursue engineering courses in TamilNadu.
