Traffic blocked in certain areas in Chennai Metro City!

The occasion of the Centenary of the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly was celebrated grandly with enthusiasm yesterday (Monday, 2nd August)!
During the celebration of this event, the portrait of the late former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi was unveiled by the President Ramnath Kovind.
President Ramnath Kovind is on a 5-day visit to Tamil Nadu. With the completion of the celebration of the grand Centenary of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, the President is scheduled to leave for Coimbatore today morning (Tuesday, 3rd August) will proceed to Ooty by a private helicopter.
The president will reach Raj Bhavan, Ooty by road, He will rest for some time here and participate in various events.
Meanwhile, the traffic is blocked in certain locations in the Chennai Metro City:
President Ramnath Kovind left from Chennai to Coimbatore by a private flight and then from Coimbatore to Ooty by a private helicopter. As such, the traffic has been blocked at the Chennai Metro City Airport area, Saidapet Small Mount Area, and Guindy.
As the president is participating in several events in Ooty, heavy security has been deployed in the entire Nilgiris District.
On the occasion of the president’s visit, several police squads have been deployed for the occasion of the President’s visit for security purposes.
