258 crore worth road project for Tamil Nadu

The Tamil Nadu state is sanctioned with Rs 258 crore worth road and bridge project. Chief Minister Jayalalitha sanctioned the project here on Wednesday. This project is expected to greatly reduce the travel time and consumption of fuel, thus certainly improving the connectivity among the places.
As a part of this project, a 4 lane bridge will be replacing the bridge connecting Chennai and Dindugal National Highway which is 85 years old. In addition, the bridge across Ayyan canal and junction will also be upgraded.
