Reopening of schools and colleges: Important review meeting on 16th July

The students of all medical colleges were administered with corona vaccine in the 1st Phase of the reopening scheduled in the Union Territory of Puducherry.
Subsequently, the government has planned to reopen the medical colleges shortly!
A review meeting was conducted regarding the reopening of all schools and colleges.
In this situation, The Chief Minister of the Union Territory of Puducherry, N. Rangaswamy had announced on Sunday (10th July)that the schools and colleges will reopen on 16th July. In the 1st Phase, classes from 9th Standard to +2 will start. At the same time, all colleges will reopen.
In this scenario, with all schools and colleges having remained closed for the last 1 year and above, and considering the recent downward trend in the extent of impact/spread of the resurgent coronavirus pandemic, THE SECRETARY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SCHOOL EDUCATION, KAKARLA USHA, IS CONDUCTING AN IMPORTANT REVIEW MEETING ON 16TH JULY IN THIS REGARD!
Information is gathered that the important aspects of whether the preparations have been carried out to reopen the schools, and the opinions/suggestions/recommendations of the District Primary Education Officers, and the status of the distribution of the textbooks and laptops to the school students.
The Secretary of the State Government of Tamil Nadu Department of School Education Usha Kakarla, Commissioner Nandhakumar, and other directors are to participate in the above review meeting.
