Chennai Corporation flags of dengue awareness rallies

Chennai�s Mayor Saidai Duraiswamy recently inaugurated two rallies that were about Dengue awareness and prevention. The rallies were held at Marina Beach and Besant Nagar�s Edward Elliots Beach.
The rallies are another one of the Chennai Corporation�s efforts to prevent the spreading of dengue. The Corporation has been spraying wells, sumps, ground level and overhead tanks with insecticides every evening. Also, water passages and canals have been regularly cleaned and treated. The Corporation has held awareness camps in schools to educate students about how the disease spreads.
