An OTT release for Prabhu Deva finally?

He�s been a busy Cinema man, Prabhu Deva. Besides handling the direction department in Bollywood, he has a couple of acting projects as well.
Among them is �Pon Manickavel�, a movie in which he plays a policeman. The movie was completed more than a year back but due to financial and other problems, it could not be released.
Directed by one of Prabhu Deva�s assistant directors, AC Mughil, this cop story has Nivetha Pethuraj as the heroine.
The project is produced by Hitesh Jhabak. The producer is apparently in negotiations with leading OTT (Over-the-top) platforms.
OTTs are a boon to movies that could not be released due to a lot of factors. Irrespective of budgets, if the content is good, the producers get a good price which will at least cover the costs of production. Let us hope Prabhu Deva�s movie gets to see the light soon!
