C.M’s new scheme fetches more on farmer’s pockets

Further to the launch of farm fresh consume outlets by honorable chief minister Ms.J.Jayalalitha, the hill farmers are excited, as the procurement of farmland vegetables is been handled by the co-operative department.
As this idea cuts down the 10% brokerage fees, travel expenses to trucks and lorries and other expenses done for the middle agents, farmers can enjoy higher income for their products, added B.Krishnamoorthy – Nilgiris potato and vegetable growers association’s president.
