No more time wasting by students - Online assessments to be given for the students of classes 9 to 12 in TN schools

The students belonging to various government as well as government aided schools in TN would become very busy from next week!!
The news is that these students would have online assessments from next week onwards and 1 teacher would be assigned to coordinate with 10 students. Currently, the students have been sitting idle and wasting time in their houses. This was creating huge stress. The teachers and parents have made many requests regarding making students busy. It is now said that the decision of the school education department to give assignments to the students of classes 9 to 12 has come at the right time. This decision was taken by the new school education minister Mr. Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi.
Through the various WhatsApp groups created by the teachers, the assignments would be sent to the students. It was later brought out by a senior officer belonging to the school education department that one teacher would be deployed to create a WhatsApp group for 10 students.
To connect with the group, the school management would make sure that all students have access to the devices. He spoke about how senior authorities and teachers have been busy working out various assignments for the students. The assignments would not be too long like online classroom sessions and apart from the textbook content there would also be activities like quiz programmes, puzzle solving etc. Truth is that these activities would be there only on the weekdays. Parents and teachers views would be sought out for improving the assessment.
For the students of class12, the assignments would be based on the board examination subjects as the students would have to appear for the board exams once normalcy gets restored in TN. It is mentioned that the teachers would have to ensure full and active participation of students by improvising their online assessment skills.
