The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin conducted a review meeting regarding the spread of the raging resurgent coronavirus pandemic.
A resolution was passed to intensify the prevailing lockdown imposition.
Accordingly, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has imposed new regulations as under:
- ATM, partial bunks, medical shops, rural medical shops, to be open as usual.
- Platform shops selling fruits, flowers, and vegetables WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO OPEN!
- E-Registration/Pass is made mandatory for those who visit Tamil Nadu from other states or other countries.
- Vegetable shops, meat shops and grocery shops to be open only from 6.00 AM to 10.00 AM
- TEA SHOPS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO OPEN FROM TOMORROW (SATURDAY, 15TH MAY)
- E-Pass mandatory for travel between districts from 17th May!
- E-Commerce organisations can function from 2.00 PM to 6.00 PM.
- Prevailing Sunday 100% lockdown will continue!
- The public MUST procure their vegetables, groceries, etc., from the nearest shops. Those who venture long-distance outing for this will be prevented!
