Stringent E-Pass checking at Tamil Nadu-Karnataka States Border!

The new lockdown impositions commenced today (26th April, Monday) in the State of Tamil Nadu. Accordingly, cinema theatres, haircutting salons, gym centers, alcoholic liquor bars, large halls, etc., will remain closed until further orders. Commercial complexes and large shops also will remain closed!

Groceries and vegetable shops shall function strictly following the guidelines. Sitting and eating inside the tea-shops and hotels/cafeterias is not permitted. Only parcels will be allowed.

Devotees will NOT be allowed to visit all worship spots and it has been emphasised that the daily poojas and ceremonies can be performed by the respective priests.

Visitors from other states or other countries must register for E-pass. However, there is no need for e-pass for visitors from Puducherry.

As E-Pass is mandatory for visits across the states, the borders of the states of Tamil Nadu-Kerala-Karnataka have been brought under strict police monitoring.

The higher officials from the Department of Health of the State Government of Tamil Nadu and senior officials of the have been deployed for stringent monitoring of E-pass  at t the section of Hosur Athipalli which is the main entrance for the Karnataka-Tamil Nadu visits

As such, the citizens vesting Tamil Nadu from Karnataka are being stopped and checked thoroughly!  As such, vehicles have remained lined-up!

General warning: As the resurgent and raging coronavirus has been spreading quite fast and wide, CITIZENS MUST WEAR FACE MASKS AND OBSERVE SOCIAL DISTANCING! WHILE ENTERING THE HOUSE AFTER AN OUTING, ENSURE TO WASH YOUR HANDS AND LEGS THOROUGHLY!
