Resurgent corona - Chennai Metro City prepared.

The Secretary for Health of the State Government of Tamil Nadu, J. Radhakrishnan has informed that efforts are being taken to ensure that at least 2 lakhs citizens get vaccinated per day!
In this situation, the Health Secretary had a session with the press reporters in the Chennai Metro City. He shared: On a single day, yesterday (Friday, 9th April), over 1 Lakhs citizens have been administered with the coronavirus vaccination! We are making efforts to ensure that s minimum of 2 lakhs citizens get vaccinated every day! As the intensity and the extent of the spread of the resurgent coronavirus pandemic has been on the rise, arrangements are being made to reopen the monitoring centres in all the districts!
We have been appealing and emphasising to the public to wear face masks! In case the public fails to strictly adhere to the guidelines already given to prevent the resurgent coronavirus spread, then the government will have no other option except to impose new and more intense regulations!
There are 4992 beds kept in the Government Hospitals in the Chennai Metro City. There are 3853 beds in private hospitals. Besides this, there are beds arranged in the Corona Prevention Centres as well making for a total of 18852 available beds!
