Tirupathi Lord Venkateswara temple: Free Darshan Stopped from 12th April! Token distribution for Sarvadarshan stopped!

The Thirumalai-Tirupathi Devasthanam Board (TTD) has informed that the usual ‘Sarvadarshan’ timings and the distribution of tokens have been stopped.
During normal conditions, the daily Sarvadarshan tokens are issued at the Vishnu Nivasam, Bhoodevi Complex. Srinivasam, and other places. 22000 tokens are distributed daily at these places. Last week, TTD decreased this to 15000 tokens daily.
The resurgent coronavirus spread is raging now throughout the country. In Tirupathi, there has been a gradual increase in the number of infected citizens over the last few days!
As such, the Thirumalai Tirupathi Devasthanam Board (TTD), considering the welfare of the visiting devotees has cancelled the distribution of the Sarvadarshan tokens usually distributed in several centres from 12th April. As such, the tokes for Sarvadarshan will continue only until 11th April (Sunday).
As the State Government of Maharashtra decided to close the Shirdi Sri Sai Baba temple due to the phenomenally resurgent coronavirus pandemic in the state, TTD has also taken a similar step as a precautionary activity! The date for resumption of distribution of Sarvadarshan tokens will be announced later!
