Stable temperatures in Chennai but interior TN districts to have increase in temperatures

Over the next 48 hours, the interior districts belonging to the state of TN would see an increase in the temperatures of 2 to 3 degrees Celsius whereas Chennai would have stable temperature. This was mentioned by the weathermen.

As per Mr. N. Puviarsan, director, Area Cyclone Warning Centre, Chennai, the maximum temperatures is likely to be above the normal by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius at isolated places over Madurai, Namakkal, Trichy, Karur, Salem, Dharmapuri, Thirupattur and Vellore districts in TN.

He added that Chennai would have a maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius. It is now said that these districts could expect the increase in the temperatures to be there for 48 hours.

Places like Salem, Karur and Madurai were hot yesterday and these places recorded a maximum temperature of 38 degrees Celsius, 37 degrees Celsius and 36.6 degrees Celsius respectively.  The state of TN would experience hot conditions in the day time over the next few days and at the night time the conditions are likely to be colder. He pointed out that there would be fog in the wee hours and this would be due to radiation fog plus due to the poor surface winds.
