5 regulations to be revised effective from today (1st March)!

The Public must get aware that certain revised regulations will be effective from today (Monday, 1st March)!

These revised regulations are very likely to affect the life-style of the public, especially the salaried-class!

Here are 5 regulations to be implemented from today - Monday, 1st March:

LPG Cooking Gas

Oil Corporations announce the price of the LPG Cooking Gas Cylinders on the 1st of every month. However, as the price of the crude oil in the international market shot up, the price of the LPG cooking gas cylinder was revised thrice.  

Presently, the Price of the 14.7 kg LPG cooking gas cylinder in New Delhi is Rs. 774/- , in Kolkata, it is Rs. 745.50 and in Chennai it is sold at Rs. 810.

Petrol/Diesel Price

The price ratios of petrol and diesel are revised on a daily basis. However, with the price of crude oil in the international market shooting up, the reflective price increase of petrol & diesel in India has reached a new peak!

This has caused huge hardship for the public! On this, the Central Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has observed this is an international issue!

KYC Mandatory!

If the account holders of the countrys premier public sector bank, the State Bank of India (SBI) are interested in keeping their accounts active, they have to complete the KYC immediately!

Also, it may be note that there are no Rs. 2000/- currency notes available in the ATMs of SBI!

Rs. 2000/- Currency Notes

From 1st March, the account holders cannot get Rs. 2000/- notes from the Indian Bank ATMs. However, they may receive the same from the banks counters.

In this regard, Indian Bank has announced, Our customers, after withdrawing cash from the ATMs, visit the branches to exchange Rs. 2000 notes seeking change for the same. Only in order to prevent this, we have stopped storing Rs. 2000/- currency notes in our ATMs.

Tollgates: FASTag NOT FREE!

The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has announced that the customers buying FASTag from the Tollgate Plazas will have to pay Rs. 1000/- from 1st March.
