In TN, for the students belonging to classes 6 to 8, the regular school to begin from March

The schools have reopened for the students of classes 9 to 12 now in Chennai and in Tamil Nadu. The news that has emerged out now is the TN government would begin schools for classes 6 to 8 from the month of March onwards.
It is known that the school education department has released reduced syllabus for the students belonging to the classes 6 to 8 with 50 percent reduction in the curriculum for all subjects.
The situation has been closely monitored by the authorities and many health experts etc. They are convinced about various SOP�s maintained in the institutions. This was brought to light by a senior officer belonging to the school education department.
It is learnt that the district education officers would be visiting all the middle schools in their respective regions in TN and would instruct the school managements to keep the institutions ready for more number of students following all the safety measures.
Distribution of sanitizers, vitamin tablets etc:
Soon, the health authorities would be making their presence felt at the schools by distributing hand sanitizers, vitamin tablets and thermal scanners etc.
Important piece of information is that there are more than 33 lakhs students belonging to the classes 6 to 8 in about 10,000 middle schools in TN. Shift system would be adopted if all the students could not be accommodated due to physical distancing norms. It is worthy to note that the libraries, labs, auditoriums present in the schools would be converted into classrooms and orders regarding this would be issued.
