Tamil Nadu Weatherman - no prospects for the cyclone to weaken!

Tamil Nadu Weatherman Pradeep John has informed that there are prospects for heavy rains in all the coastal districts from Chennai to Nagappattinam. Further, he informed that there are absolutely no prospects for the cyclone Nivar to weaken.
The depression zone that prevailed until yesterday night transformed into a cyclone this morning (Wednesday, 25th November). This cyclone, Nivar, is presently situated southeast of the Chennai Metro City at a distance of 450 km.
The cyclone Nivar is drifting towards the northwest. It has been estimated that cyclone will cross the coast tomorrow (Thursday, 26th November) near Puducherry.
Presently, the cyclone Nivar is drifting at 5 km per second.
