JEE Preliminary Examinations commence in Tamil Nadu

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Preliminary examinations commenced today (1St September, Tuesday) in Tamil Nadu in 34 Centres.
It is mandatory to write and pass JEE for admission to high-quality and repute Engineering Colleges in the country including the Indian Institutes of Technology.
The Examinations started at 9.30 AM.
Commencing today JEE is being conducted in 34 Centres throughout Tamil Nadu till 6th September. A total of 53765 candidates are writing this JEE Preliminary Examinations.
The candidates, who entered the examination centres, were checked for the body thermal scanning and then only permitted inside the examination ha.
The examination was conducted strictly following the preventive guidelines of wearing face masks and keeping social distancing as a preventive measure against the raging coronavirus pandemic.
A total of 7.78 lakhs candidates are participating in this JEE Preliminary examinations.
