Prospects for very heavy rains in 3 districts!

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects for very heavy rains in the mountainous areas of Nilgiri District today (Wednesday, 5th August).
The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has further informed that there are prospects for heavy to very heavy rains in the mountainous areas of Coimbatore District and heavy rains in the Theni District.
There are prospects for mild rain in the districts of Thiruvallur, Vellore, Krishnagiri, Dindigul, Thirunelveli, and Kanyakumari.
In the Chennai Metro City and its suburbs, it will generally remain cloudy in the next 24 hours.
