Lockdown - to be extended with more relaxations?

The Central Government has planned to impose the 5th Phase of the lockdown with utmost restrictions in 13 cities throughout the country including Chennai, Mumbai, and Delhi. It is expected that the official announcement will be released later in the day!
With the number of coronavirus infected persons touching 1.70 Lakhs, several states have been relaxing many of the earlier conditions to revive the lifeline of the public and the economy! Statistics reveal that out of the total infected cases, 70% belong to 13 cities in the country!
Information is gathered that lockdown may be extended for 15 more days in Phase-5 in 13 cities of Chennai, Chingleput, Thiruvallur, Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Indore, Ahmadabad, Jaipur, and Jodhpur.
The officials have also declared that the guidelines for the 5th Phase lockdown will be released today (Saturday, 30th May).
The central cabinet secretary Rajiv Gowda conducted a review meeting/discussions/consultations with the Chief Secretaries of the State Governments.
The Central Home Minister Amit Shah also had a review/consultation/discussion regarding the status with the State Chief Ministers. Subsequently, he had a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his issue later in the day (Friday, 29th May).
Information is gathered that the central government has decided to give the authority to the states regarding the continuation/withdrawal of the lockdown imposition.
States such as Punjab, Delhi, Karnataka, Telangana and others have demanded the withdrawal of the lockdown.
The State Governments are earnestly indulging in all activities towards economic recovery on all possible fronts. States like Karnataka and West Bengal have demanded the relaxation to reopen the religious worship spots.
The state of Maharashtra has requested the resumption of the electric train service and Delhi has demanded the resumption of Metro.
However, it is learnt that in the present situation, the ban on operation of Metro and electric train may not be permitted and is to be extended further!
In a similar vein, there are no prospects for the reopening of schools, colleges, cinema theatres, malls, etc. Still, it is expected that the 5th Phase of lockdown imposition will be announced with a limited extent of further relaxation.
