With reference to various announcements made by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today for digital education, please find below the comment from Mr. Aloysius D`Mello, Principal, Greenwood High International School.
We appreciate the step which the government has taken to give a major impetus to online education. The status of education is often a healthy predictor of the country’s overall development and well-being. The higher focus on digital learning would now enhance the quality of education in rural India and will help children in their learning endeavors. The initiative of ONE NATION, ONE EDUCATION PLATFORM is a milestone in the history of the Indian education system. With the initiatives announced today, the government is looking well beyond the horizon and is fully prepared in the future to handle any situation that may arise. Digital education will go a long way to educate the masses in the rural sector and has the potential to develop an emergent India.
