CBSE students can apply for counseling

Tamil Nadu Minister for Higher Education P. Palaniappan has announced that students passing out of CBSE schools need not wait for their results to apply for engineering counseling. The counseling courses are conducted by Anna University for admissions into engineering course across the State.
Mr. Palaniappan said that as CBSE results were expected only on May 20th, students may attach their nativity and community certificates to the applications. Incidentally, May 20th is the last date to submit applications for counseling. Counselling begins on June 21st and will go on till July 31st. According to a court order, all classes must start on August 1st.
