If the ration-card is lost, who to approach?
- Rural Areas: Circle food items distribution officer
- Urban Areas: Assistant Commissioner, Department of Food Items Distribution
What are the documents required?
- A copy of the lost family ration card
- Any other Identity Proof
What are the charges? - When getting the new ration card, Rs. 10 has to be paid.
Time Limit: Within 45 days of application
Procedure:
- Submit an application to the concerned officer about the loss of the ration card.
- An application will be given. Fill this up and submit.
- After their enquiry, a fresh family ration card will be sent.
