Chennai – Bangalore double decker a hit

The newly launched Chennai – Bangalore double decker train is plying at full capacity. Those without a confirmed ticket are not allowed on the train. The 10 coach AC train is said to be ice cold and refreshing. A total of 1200 persons can fill the train, 120 in each coach. The train, which stops at all major station, has had a good response from the public.
The train stops at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpet and Ambur where it fills up. Those wanting to travel on the train will need to reserve their seats well in advance. People are not allowed to stand and travel on the train.
