Facility to make cashless payment for LPG cooking gas cylinders!

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has emphasised its customers to make an electronic transaction while paying for its LPG Cooking Gas Cylinders.
A press notification issued by IOC in this regard:
INDANE agents and distributors supply the Indane LPG cooking gas cylinders for residences. The customers are now requested that they may start adopting digital payment by cashless mode or electronic mode in order to pay the exact amount.
According to this, once the customer books the cylinders on IVRS, the link for making a payment will be sent to them through SMS to the relevant mobile phone number.
Utilizing this address, the payment can be made within a day through internet banking. In this mode, the customers need not pay any additional amount. The delivery staff can also be asked to accept payment by this method or using the MPOS device. Making cash payment can be kept as the last option!
Further, the cylinder is sealed properly. The weight of the gas had also bee checked. Only a specific amount is charged for collection.
The customers are requested to provide feedback/suggestions as a reply to the SMS sent by IOC Indane agents regarding their experience. This would help improve the quality of service to a higher level.
Indian Oil Corporation does not encourage the practice of the delivery staff asking for and collecting tips.
