10,000 students sing songs in AM. Jain College, Chennai for Hindu spiritual fair

In Meenambakkam in Chennai is present highly popular AM. Jain College and this college made huge noises on Friday, 24th January 2020.
The 11th edition of Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair would be inaugurated on 28th of January and it would be till 2nd February. As a prelude to this fair, as many as 10000 students came together on Friday at the above said popular college. It is now revealed that these students took part in a singing concert and caught the attention. The singing concert was conceptualized around 6 themes.
According to R. Rajalakshmi, managing trustee, Initiative for Moral and Cultural Training Foundation, music is an effective medium to spread message and hence the programme has been organised.
She shed light on how students belonged to 40 different schools in Chennai and they sang in 11 languages like Tamil, Sanskrit, Gujrati, Marathi, Telugu, Hindi, Odisha, Malayalam, Kannada, Punjabi and Bengali. There were some important topics that were touched up on by the students while singing.
These topics were forest conservation and wildlife protection, preserving ecology, sustaining environment, inculcation of family and human values, instilling patriotism and foster women�s honour. For various age groups, a swimming competition was held and more than 50 students and coaches took part and cash awards were received by the winners.
It is important to mention that the upcoming fair would have traditional food displayed by different communities and there would also be many competitions for the kids. There would be 500 stalls in the fair and these stalls would be organised keeping in mind the above 6 themes.
