27,89,00,000 devotees had Darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara in 2019. 12,49,80,000 Laddus have been sold in 2019.
Thousands of devotees visit Thirumalai-Tirupathi temple every day to have Darshan of Lord Venkateswara. The contributions made by these lakhs of devotees are monitored by the Thirumalai Tirupathi Devasthanam (TTD). Excepting the daily administrative expenses incurred, the balance contributions of the devotees are deposited in the bank.

1 free laddu is given to the devotees who visit by foot climbing the mountain. For the Dharma Darshan devotees and the devotees who climb the mountains, 2 laddus are given at Rs. 10 and Rs 25 for additional 2 laddus. For the devotees who pay Rs. 300 for special Darshan and the devotees having Darshan through VIP Break, 2 free laddus are given.
A decision has been taken that henceforth, 1 free laddu will be given for all kinds of devotees. In case additional laddus are required, they can be bought at Rs. 50 each. This system is being implemented from the Vaikunta Ekadasi day.
