Space for third front, says Akhilesh

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has said that there is space and scope to build a third force at the Centre. The Samajwadi Party leader was on a visit to Chennai. He also made a �courtesy call� to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa.
Mr. Yadav inaugurated the Vanniyar youth festival organized by the PMK (Pattali Makkal Katchi) � backed Vanniyar Sangam. Speaking to journalists, he said that both the Congress and the BJP has failed the people on many counts. He said that their policies were not �pro poor�
�The process for making Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh head of a third force and possibly, Prime Minister should begin from the south. The political initiative for such an eventuality should begin with your support,� he said.
