Dry days on April 24th and May 1st

All TASMAC outlets in the State have been ordered to be closed on Mahaveer Jayanthi which falls on April 24th and May Day which falls on May 1st. The order was issued by the district administration under Rule 12 of the Tamil Nadu Liquor Retain Vending Rules 2003. The order extends to TASMAC bars as well.
The order also said, ‘ Failure to follow the direction would attract action including suspension and cancellation of the licences of the shops and bars.’
