Free laptops distributed for students

755 students of the Sacred Heart College in Tirupattur received laptops at a function on Saturday. The laptops were distributed by Tamil Nadu Health Minister K.C. Veeramani.
Speaking at the function, Mr. Veeramani said, ‘The Chief Minister, by launching the free laptop scheme for the school and college students, (has) fulfilled her poll promise. A higher allocation of funds (has) also been made for this project… Chief Minister Jayalalithaa is making a revolution in education and I want all of you to make use of all the facilities provided by the government.’
