E-waste items can be deposited at the corporation wards!

The Chennai Metro City Corporation has announced that the local public can deposit e-waste material (computer and other electronic gadget unwanted items) at the ward offices in Adyar zone.
A notification released by the Chennai Metro Corporation in this regard mentions:
Special deposit centres have been set up in the Adyar zone in wards 170 to 182 for the resident public to deposit. Please note that these centres will be open only up to 30th November.
The public can avail this opportunity to deposit the unwanted e-waste items (mobile phones, chargers, TV, computer, printers, keyboards, earphones, etc) at these centres.
Further, these e-waste deposit centres are to be set up in all the other zones/wards of the Chennai Metro City Corporation.’
