On Monday, Chennai to get light rains

The important piece of news that has come out now is Chennai city is likely to get light rains on Monday. It is important to mention that there would not be any scope for the heavy rains. This was according to the meteorological department prediction.
The condition of the sky is likely to be cloudy and light rains are likely to occur in some areas. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 33 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 25 degrees Celsius.
In some core places belonging to Chennai, there were mild but scattered rains on Sunday. It must be taken into account that Nungambakkam recorded 2.9 mm rain whereas there no rain was recorded at Meenambakkam.
It was revealed by an official belonging to the meteorological department that Chennai city might have to wait for the weather system to develop in Bay of Bengal to get heavy rains. It must be noted that Saturday’s trough in easterlies from south-west Bay of Bengal to east-central Bay of Bengal now runs from south-west Bay of Bengal to west-central Bay of Bengal.
