Chennai rain update (Tamil Nadu Weatherman)

Easterly trough / wave will bring back rains in Chennai and TN coast from around 14th November + or - a day. MJO is also expected to be back from 4-5th week of November in our basin. The next active phase rains will be good with MJO to support us that is from last week to 1st half of December.
Veppa Salanam Rains with thunder from today
In the case of interior TN and south TN thunderstorms (veppa salanam) rains will start from tonight and will last till westerlies are in place with Bulbul north of TN.
Bulbul being wasted in open seas
In the case of Bulbul, it will steer up under Pacific Ridge and then gets caught in high shear again, it too weakens and pushed down and mostly will merge with an easterly wave or trough.
