Low-Pressure Area is likely to form over southwest & adjoining the west-central Bay of Bengal off north Tamilnadu-south Andhra Pradesh coast during the next 48 hours. It is likely to initially move north-northeastwards over the east-central Arabian Sea till 24th October and then west - northwestwards with gradual intensification.
21 October (Day 1):
- Heavy to very heavy rainfall with extremely heavy falls very likely at isolated places over Kerala & Mahe; Heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Karnataka and Tamilnadu, Puducherry & Karaikal and Heavy Rainfall at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Konkan & Goa, Telangana, Rayalseema and Lakshadweep.
- Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning very likely at isolated places over Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Konkan & Goa, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Puducherry & Karaikal, and Kerala & Mahe.
- Squally weather very likely over east-central & adjoining southeast the Arabian Sea along with Maharashtra-Goa-Karnataka-Kerala coasts, Lakshadweep and Comorin area and over southwest & adjoining the west-central Bay of Bengal along with north Tamilnadu-south Andhra Pradesh coast. Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas.

- Heavy to very heavy rainfall with extremely heavy falls very likely at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Puducherry & Karaikal and Kerala & Mahe; Heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Rayalseema, Interior Karnataka and Heavy Rainfall at isolated places over Marathwada, Konkan & Goa, Telangana and Lakshadweep.
- Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning very likely at isolated places over East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Konkan & Goa, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Puducherry & Karaikal, and Kerala & Mahe.
