For the attention of Chennai residents who plan a trip for Ayudha Pooja vacation

The advance booking for the special buses to be operated from Chennai for the Ayudha Pooja holidays has already commenced and is in progress.
As Ayudha Pooja and Vijayadasami festivals fall on 7th and 8th October (Monday and Tuesday) with the 2 previous days being Saturday and Sunday, there are 4 successive holidays in the offing.
The Tamil Nadu Transport Corporation expects that there will be a large number of passengers planning a trip during the above holidays and hence has planned to operate special buses in this regard.
Accordingly, 6145 special buses are to be operated from Chennai to other districts.
The special buses are to be operated from tomorrow (Sunday, 6th October) from Chennai Metro City to other districts.
The reservations for the special buses commenced on Thursday, 3rd October and are in brisk progress. Reservations can be done at the bus stations of Koyambedu, Madhavaram, Poonamallee, and Tambaram.
Apart from this, reservations are also done online at the official website of the Tamil Nadu Transport Corporations and also the Apps such as Red Bus and PayTM.
