Light rains in Chennai city for the next 2 days

The weathermen have predicted that the city of Chennai would receive light rains for the next 48 hours. It must be taken into account that the NE monsoon might be more than 2 weeks away but Chennai would get light rains. After the middle of October, the intensity of the rains might be more.
It is revealed that as per the 48hour forecast made by the RMC, Chennai it is clear that the condition of the sky is likely to be cloudy and light rains is likely to occur in some places. Point to be noted here is the rains might be during the midnight or in the early morning when the westerly set in and after day breaks. The sea breeze could set in early and it would make days warm and humid.
It is important to mention that on Friday Chennai did not get any rain but the temperature was around 33 degree Celsius. The humidity touched 80%.
Mr. Pradeep John, Chennai weather blogger, mentioned about how Chennai might get isolated morning rains. He hinted that there might be sharp spells of rains for a time of 10 to 15 minutes but it would not be significant. In western and northern parts of India, an extended SW monsoon is still bringing rains. Point is the rainy season ended officially on 30th September but there is no sign of slowing down of the rains. In this 2019, withdrawal could be rapid and this was according to some weather experts.
The truth is NE monsoon begins around 20th October with a deviation of 5 days is known. It is said that the onset of this monsoon might not be affected. It was later pointed out by Mr. Puviarasan, director, Area Cyclone Warning Centre, Chennai, that northeast monsoon could start after the third week of October.
There would be normal monsoon in this year and this was predicted by South Asian Climate Outlook Forum of World Meteorological Organisation. This would be as far as the performance of the NE monsoon is concerned. After 15th of October, the intensity of rains might increase in Chennai city. This was as per some weather experts.
