A new app from the TN government about the location of buses

Are you are a frequent MTC bus traveler and having the interest to know about the location of your bus? It would be possible soon.
Live to track government buses and planning trips accordingly would become easy in the future. Information is the government is developing a new app similar to Ola and Uber mobile apps. By this, a person would be able to plan his or her trips easily. For developing LAMB app or Locate and Access My Bus app, the state transport department issued orders recently is known. It must be noted that this app would be available in android and in ios platforms for free.
It is now said that the app would show the live location of buses and list of nearest bus stops to the user on Google Maps. A person must enter the location of the bus stop then the app would give the estimated time of arrival or ETA of next 5 buses at the stop along with their route numbers. It is important to mention that searches pertaining to specific routes would also be available.
It must be taken into account that if a person searches for the route number 23C (Ayanavaram to Besant Nagar) from Egmore then the list of nearest bus stops along the said route, ETA of the next 2 buses and their 5 locations would be shown.
Point is the accuracy would be within the deviation margin of 1 minute or 10% of the predicted time. The superb information is this app would provide real time date of 21,800 buses including 3300 MTC buses in Chennai.
